With 2 intramural Leagues and 2 grade 7-8 competitive teams, the chances that GMS’ers got their kicks this fall are pretty good. The Golden Ball in grade 6 intramural league when to ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ who defeated ‘Here Come da Judge’ for the championship while ‘Maya’s In-Sainis’ edged out ‘TytgatMatz Tiger-Katz’ in the grade 7-8 league. Of course the season wrapped up with the annual Golden Boot Game between the staff and the 7-8 girls team. The back-and-forth thriller was won this year by the staff who hung on to a 5-4 victory under relentless pressure.
