The Glanford Middle School family assembled this Remembrance Day to honour those Canadians who have sacrificed life and limb that we may gather, work, play, learn, and become good Canadians. We were honoured again this year to have CPO2 (Ret’d) John Haggis, whose daughters are Glanford alumni, speak on the importance of remembering. Our assembly was highlighted by musical performances from our choir who performed “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” accompanied by our strings, and also “Benedictus” with piano accompaniment, and our band who performed “O Canada”.
