Glanford experienced it’s 7th annual “Bear Escape”, as the senior girls’ basketball team (AKA The Bears) ran off to the wilds of Courtenay for the IceBreaker tournament. Traditional trips to Starbuck’s and DQ bookended a weekend of waterslides, pizza, pancakes, and, yes, even a little basketball. Actually a lot of basketball as the girls played 4 games in a 22 hour period and, drum roll please, broke their perfect record by winning their first game of the year! Way to go, girls…Beat ‘em, Bust ‘em, that just might be our custom again!
